With a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Purdue University, I bring both formal training and genuine passion to every journey I design. My deep enthusiasm for creating distinctive, meaningful experiences allows me to help clients plan everything from once-in-a-lifetime bucket-list adventures to unforgettable explorations, relaxing family vacations, and intimate romantic escapes.
My career and travels have taken me around the world and into roles with leading global brands, including The Walt Disney Company, Starbucks, Shangri-La Luxury Hotels, and a luxury dude ranch in Colorado. These experiences have shaped my approach to travel planning—combining elevated service, thoughtful details, and authentic connection to each destination.
My personal travel interests center on experiential and adventure travel, with a particular love for gastronomy, fly-fishing, hiking, and multi-sport journeys, as well as creative pursuits like painting and ceramics. Whether exploring the outdoors or enjoying time with friends and family, I believe the most memorable trips are those that reflect who you are and how you love to travel.
I am a Certified Travel Agent (CTA) and hold additional certifications as a Luxury Travel Specialist and Adventure Travel Specialist, with a special interest and expertise in Alaska vacations.
My passion for travel began during a transformative semester of college spent backpacking through Europe and studying in London. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to explore destinations across the globe, including Australia, New Zealand, Kenya, Israel, Jordan, China, Tahiti, much of Europe, as well as Canada and the Caribbean. Each journey has deepened my appreciation for the cultural, natural, and experiential richness that travel offers.
With many years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of designing truly exceptional trips for my clients. I believe the most successful journeys start with understanding, taking the time to learn each client’s interests, expectations, and travel style. From there, I craft itineraries that range from once-in-a-lifetime adventures to perfectly relaxed escapes designed for rest and renewal.
Through the global relationships I’ve built over the years, I’m able to manage every detail of the journey while securing VIP amenities and exclusive experiences. These have included after-hours tours of the Vatican, hands-on cooking classes, the iconic Sydney BridgeClimb, and unforgettable African safaris, to name just a few.
Among my favorite destinations is New Zealand, whose dramatic landscapes and natural beauty never fail to inspire. Australia and Kenya follow closely behind. I also have a deep love for adventure travel and have had the opportunity to ski in remarkable destinations around the world.

Originally from Robeson County, North Carolina, I relocated to the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area in 2000, where I met my husband, David Currin. We’ve now called this area home for more than two decades. Our family includes a lively crew of fur babies (one Chihuahua, three French Bulldogs, and two cats) bringing us endless joy.
My love of travel began early, inspired by countless hours flipping through National Geographic magazines and dreaming about far-off places I never imagined I’d one day visit. That dream became reality in August 2003, when I began my career in the travel industry as a front desk clerk with Travelink, based in Nashville, Tennessee. Over time, I worked my way into the role of Leisure Travel Agent, where I proudly am today.
Travelink has opened the door for me to explore destinations both domestic and international—from culturally rich cities to exotic locations filled with history and wonder. I’m passionate about sharing that excitement with my clients and helping them discover the joy, connection, and inspiration that travel brings.
